So cozy this foal next to our Camping Pieterom. On the night of April 13, this sweet little foal was born. Both mother and son are doing very well. Since it was already warmer, they were allowed to enjoy the sunshine the very next day. According to the proud owner, the foals become strong from this. A name still needs to be thought of. For horses, the name must begin with the letter that, according to the alphabet, is up this year. Therefore, the name must begin with a U. Not the easiest letter, then.
We distributed rusks with blue mice to all guests who stayed at our Pieterom Campground. For the German guests, this was an equal introduction to our typical Dutch tradition. It was very much appreciated. If the weather is good (a little warmer;) then the foal can be admired every day from our campsite. By now, then, he has become a real movie star, because everyone is taking a picture and/or video of him.
Now we are waiting for the other mare who will also give birth at any moment.
