Start of 2024 camping season. We are participating in Open Camping Day!
Camping season 2024 really got underway with early Easter. Right away the campground is crowded with caravans and campers. Some guests spend only the Easter weekend. Others stay a little longer. Some even two months. The first campers (bikers) with tents have already reported for an overnight stay. The Pieterwagen and the Blue Lady (retro caravan) hosted several guests.
And we are waiting for our neighboring horses to have foals. Meanwhile, both ladies have been several days overdue. Very exciting so when the foal news comes and we can hand out rusks with mice
This coming weekend another new activity awaits, namely the Open Camping Day. Next Saturday, April 6, anyone who likes it can visit us between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at our Camping Pieterom. Guests are welcomed with a freshly brewed cup of coffee/tea and a genuine Drenthe delicacy. We open up all spaces for those not currently reserved. Everyone can then take a look behind the scenes of our cozy and idyllic campsite at their leisure
