Unique overnight stay(s) now possible in the Pipowagen at Camping Pieterom
The Pipowagen, the beginning of our camping adventure.
Almost two years ago we made this surely impulse purchase of the Pipowagen that came along on Facebook. We then had a job farm in Dalen where we left only the walls standing. This job property included a huge piece of land (13,000 m2). Once the Pipowagen was in our garden, the idea began to grow of how nice it would be if we could host people in it. Only we didn’t have sanitation or anything that made this impossible.
Therefore, we only rented out the Pipowagen during the day for photo shoots and as an inspiration office for small gatherings or people who want to work there for a day undisturbed. You can still do this, of course. We even have some “Little House on the Prairie” dresses available for these purposes ;). But own clothing is of course also possible and/or wedding photos.
Because of the enthusiastic response we received, the idea of having guests actually sleep in our Pipowagen began to grow. Only before we could really get this done would we be years away given the state of our handyman farm.
And then Camping Pieterom came along. After two looks, we were sold. And behold now, the Pipowagen stands proudly in its place as if it has never stood anywhere else. And our dream in come true. Several happy guests have already spent the night in it.
Spending the night in the Pipowagen will take you back to the days of adventurers. However, you do have all the comforts of today! Like a good box spring bed, nice chairs and your own fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, kettle and dining table. You also have your own terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining and a cup of coffee, glass of wine or soda.
