Comfort, hygiëne en ontmoeting
Our beautiful, first-class sanitary building is located in a former wagon barn and combines authentic charm with modern facilities. Entering through the large automatic bay doors, you are always covered and sheltered – ideal in any weather.
The building is thoroughly cleaned twice a day, and even more often if necessary. This ensures that you can always use a fresh, hygienic space.
In the center of the building you will find the dishwashing area, with three spacious sinks for dishes and a separate sink for clothes washing. Detergent and a dishwashing brush are waiting for you, so you don’t have to think about anything.
A cozy atmosphere often develops during dishwashing, where guests meet, catch up and exchange tips. Because we noticed that almost everyone comes here every day, we made the sanitary building also the place for sharing useful information. You will find information leaflets about the area, a large whiteboard with current tips on local activities, discount tickets and other great ideas for trips.
The sanitary facilities are extensive: for both ladies and gentlemen there are two toilets, two sinks and two showers. In addition, there is a spacious family room, ideal for families with small children or disabled guests. This room is extra accessible and features a toilet with armrests, a sink, a shower chair, a baby bathtub and a changing pad. A bathroom heater here provides extra comfort, even on colder days.
In total, our sanitary building has five toilets, five showers and five sinks. The toilets are equipped with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. The showers have thermostatic taps, adjustable shower heads and electric radiators – everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. No hassle with tokens: you enjoy unlimited hot showers.
The hot water in our sanitary building is provided by an environmentally friendly solar water heater. This system always provides plenty of hot water, both for showering and washing dishes. We assume that our guests use water and energy responsibly. You can therefore choose your own shower time and temperature, without the need for tokens.
You will also find a number of additional facilities in the sanitary building that will make your stay even more comfortable. A first aid kit is available, as well as practical items such as shampoo, soap, a hand dryer and a coffee and tea station with kettle. You can also use a washer and dryer for a small fee. You can easily arrange payment for this at the reception, where you will receive a laundry ball so you don’t have to bring your own detergent and fabric softener.
At our sanitary building, we combine comfort and hygiene with coziness and practical conveniences, so you can enjoy your stay carefree.
Last but not least, you can buy fresh eggs from the local farmer in the sanitary building – a small but delicious local extra. Do bring some change, as we ask our guests to pay for this the old-fashioned way by putting the money in a jar. How fun is that!
